IN-DIGESTION
In-digestion is an ongoing project developed in parallel with Inheritance and Relics. It stems from a reflection on food within the female lineage as a space of care and love, but also as a vehicle for the transmission of fears, injunctions, and introjects.
The title plays on the double meaning of indigestion: the difficulty of digesting an emotional inheritance that both shapes and conditions us. Emptiness occupies a central place in the works, understood as that which we attempt to fill, through excess or absence, by what we consume.
Created on plates, trays, and other kitchen utensils, the project transforms these everyday objects into vessels of memory and of all that is silently passed down from one generation to the next.
